Welcome to Devlink

Development Knowledge Link Africa (DEVLINK) is a civil society organization committed to the promotion of human rights for women and children with special emphasis on poverty, health and socio-cultural factors that lead to gender disparities in our community. It was registered in Kenya under the NGO Coordination Act in April 2003 as a National Non-Governmental Organization and Non-profit making organization with a mandate to work countrywide. DEVLINK is engaged in several frontline human rights initiatives geared towards health promotion, dignified livelihood and access to justice by the poor and vulnerable in our community.

Our Partners

UNIFEM is the women's fund at the United Nations. It provides financial and technical assistance to innovative programmes and strategies to foster women's empowerment and gender equality.

NACC is mandated to control the HIV/Aids pandemic by setting up medical regulations and providing medical resource for the same. The NACC has been of support in DEVLINK's HIV/Aids interventions.

AMREF Maanisha partners with DEVLINK by providing support in DEVLINK's mandate to root out norms in HIV/Aids, Culture and Stigma and also in support of PLHIVs and OVCs by providing nutritional support, economic empowerement among others.

The DED focues on economic empowerement through development and has been key in fighting S/GBV and contributing to our HIV/Aids Interventions. The DED also supports the Kenyan Water Sector Reforms.

The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation seeks to prevent pediatric HIV infection and to eradicate pediatric AIDS through research, advocacy, and prevention and treatment programs.
